The Distinguished Young Woman of Simpson County for 2017 is Maggie Holman, from Franklin.
Maggie’s achievements include: Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society nominee • Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society nominee • BRHSA Co-op Vice-President • WKU Strings Contest Winner • Currently completed 27 college hours, maintaining a 4.0 • Red Cross Infant, Child, & Adult CPR certified • Featured soloist on the Red River Fiddlers album • Girl Scout Daisy to Ambassador, Leader-In-Action Award, & Camp Aide • 2nd Place Overall in High School Division Science Fair held at WKU • Theatrical roles in productions such as Charlotte's Web & Pinocchio
